FISHING

Here on Wright-Patterson fishing is a very popular sport, and what better way to do it than from a semi private lake? It is important to note that if you fish at any of the local lakes, streams, or rivers not located on Wright-Patterson or in any of the streams that cut through Wright-Patterson, you are required to have in your possession a Wright-Patterson and state of Ohio fishing license. However, if you fish from one of the three semi-private lakes here on Wright-Patterson you are not required to have a state license only a Wright-Patterson fishing license and your identification card. I keep calling them semi-private because they are exclusively for the individuals who work and play on Wright-Patterson and their guests.

Fishing licenses are available through the Outdoor Recreation Operation Center, Rod & Gun Club, and our FAMCAMP facilities, located in the Bass Lake Recreation Complex on the back side of the flight line.

$5.00 per day or $15.00 Season

The three lakes on Wright-Patterson are stocked seasonally with Bass and Trout, but are home to a number of different species including blue gill and cat fish.

So, come on out to Bass Lake Recreation Complex cast your line and dangle your feet in our 42 acre lake. Sorry

NO SWIMMING.
